Job Title: Exam Invigilator

GSL Education is currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to work in secondary schools across Scunthorpe during exam periods. This role is ideal for individuals seeking short-term or occasional work, including retirees, graduates, university students, or anyone with daytime availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms according to school and exam board regulations
• Supervise students during exams, ensuring rules are followed at all times
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials efficiently
• Report any incidents or irregularities in line with school procedures
• Provide a calm, professional, and reassuring presence for students

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Good communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and observant in a quiet environment
• Previous experience in schools is desirable but not essential (training provided)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
