Northwell Health's Department of Neurology seeks a BC/BE Stroke Neuro-hospitalist for our multi-disciplinary team at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Long Island, NY. This role focuses exclusively on inpatient stroke management during a rotating on/off schedule.

• Manage the acute care of stroke patients on inpatient units.
• Provide daily evaluations, imaging interpretation, and evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with neurology, neuro-interventional, and critical care teams.
• Document and discuss care in daily rounds and case conferences.
• Maintain expert knowledge of stroke protocols and emerging therapies.

• Completion of a Neurology residency.
• Completion of a Stroke or Vascular fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology (BC/BE).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• One week on/one week off schedule for optimal work-life balance.
• Pure inpatient focus with no ambulatory responsibilities.
• Dedicated resident and neuro-vascular support teams.

Base salary range $125,000 to $750,000, adjusted by specialty, experience, and performance.
