Job Description
Visa's Strategic Finance team is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support inorganic growth priorities and support the Head of Corporate Development with Mergers & Acquisitions and Investments.
Based in Visa's San Francisco office.
This is a hybrid position; office days will be confirmed by hiring manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure rigorous financial analysis, modeling, and due diligence to build the business case for potential transactions and develop effective valuation tools.
- Lead diligence from finance to conduct interviews with target management teams and build an accurate business case.
- Design senior executive presentations for CFO, Investment Committee, and Board of Directors to support transaction approvals.
- Support integration efforts and ongoing evaluation of transaction performance.
- Cultivate trust-based relationships and effectively communicate cross-functionally with the broader transactions team including Corporate Development, business partners, product, comptrollership, HR, Tax, and Legal.
- Structure approaches to evaluate transactions within the Payments industry and provide fact-based understanding of competitive landscape to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of work experience with an advanced degree (eg, Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
- 9+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree (eg, Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 3+ years with a PhD.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field.
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, able to perform financial modeling and analysis with rigor and accuracy.
- Expert skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- 3-5 years of relevant financial analysis work (forecasting, budgeting). Preferred 3-5 years of M&A finance experience, capital markets, valuation.
- Experience in financial elements of mergers, acquisitions, and investments including post-close performance tracking.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work independently and in a Matrix organization.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Standard office setting, sit and stand at a desk, frequent use of computers and office equipment.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range is $149,800 to $240,100 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors. This position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
