Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), a large public teaching healthcare system, affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking a Full time BC/BE general cardiologist to join our dynamic practice in the Department of Medicine.

About Our Organization
Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and is committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH comprises four hospitals: Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC - 731 beds), O'Connor Hospital (OCH - 358 beds), Saint Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH - 93 beds) and Regional Medical Center (RMC - 258 beds). SCVH includes a network of primary care clinics, urgent care clinics, dental services, primary care behavioral health services, and a broad range of specialty services in the Valley Specialty Center.
SCVMC hosts four residency programs and one fellowship training program, and partners with Stanford University SOM and Stanford Healthcare for clinical training. SCVMC is an ACS-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, an ABA-verified Burn Center, a Primary Stroke Center, a Level 4 NICU, and a CARF-accredited Rehabilitation Center. SCVMC serves the County and the broader region and offers an integrated Epic electronic health record (EHR). HIMSS recognized SCVMC for Stage 7 for inpatient and outpatient EHR optimization.

About The Division Of Cardiology
The Division of Cardiology provides consultative inpatient services and outpatient care for heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease, among others. We are a key training site for SCVMC residents, with a collegial work environment, robust specialty and ancillary support, and an integrated Epic EHR.
About The Position
This position is for a board-eligible or board-certified general Cardiologist. Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient work. Inpatient responsibilities involve rounding on CCU and Consult services with residents. When off inpatient service, physicians rotate with colleagues in clinic and read echoes, EKGs, and stress tests. The ideal candidate should work well with multiple individuals, physicians, managers, and technicians.
About Compensation And Benefits
