Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 2-5 years post-article experience, preferably in the Marketing and Advertising industry or Shared Service environments.
- Curious, self-motivated, and driven to improve financial processes.
- Proficiency in ERP and Consolidation packages.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Role Overview As a Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our client's Finance Hub, responsible for managing and optimizing their financial operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong control over their financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve journals before posting in financial systems.
- Conduct balance sheet reviews and lead trial balance reports.
- Review financial controls and support month-end activities.
- Prepare standard and client profitability reports.
- Collaborate with Commercial Finance for revenue calculations and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in statutory accounts preparation and budget uploads.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Manage and guide the Accounting team to meet business SLA targets.
