About the Company (Atlas, an SAP.iO incubation)

With Atlas, we are bringing location intelligence to everyone by building a platform to easily manage and analyze location-based data. If you are a restaurant chain looking to find a new location, we help you find places close to your target audience. If you are in private equity conducting market analysis, we deliver insights on saturation and cannibalization.

As a member on our team, you will be directly interacting with customers and product management to build a product our customers love-as quickly as possible (yes, we ship continuously).

What you'll do:

  • Position Title: Frontend Engineer @ Atlas, an SAP .iO Start-Up
  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Dates : June 11 - Auguest 17 2018


  • Help build a state-of-the-art location analytics platform with consumer grade user experience
  • Work closely with the design team & product management to create new UI components and interactions
  • Drive the direction of the product by being an early member of a growing team, and engaging directly with customers
    • We're operating like a start-up-we ship often and fast, and are adding new features every week.
    • Interns are expected to work as full members of the dev team

Who you are:

At Atlas, we are building enterprise applications that offer a consumer grade user experience, transforming how people can use location-based data. As a Frontend Engineer, you should have an intuition for good design combined with the ability to write production-level code to build high-quality web applications.

  • Expertise in Frontend Development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript (knowledge of ES2017+ preferred)
  • Great design intuition and acumen
  • Experience interacting with a microservices or RESTful APIs, preferably experience with Node.js/Express
  • Experience with VueJS or React
  • Experience building with Mapbox or Google Maps
  • Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continous Development
  • Working on customer facing products in small teams
  • Work experience in B2B SaaS
