As the Assistant Finance Manager within our Specialty Division you will be responsible for providing strong financial leadership and insights to functional and business unit leaders around new product commercialization, Long Range Planning, Strategy development and ongoing decision support.

Key Responsibilities

. Play a key leadership role in driving growth for the Specialty Division by partnering with project teams to develop pro-forma P&L projections and DCF valuations for new product launches and adjacency expansion opportunities.

. Provide analytic support for the Long Range Planning process (LRP) by working with Business unit leadership team to develop sound planning assumptions and analysis.

. Provide ad-hoc and analytical decision support for the Division by leading the annual PP&L process, evaluating product customization requests, and performing cost savings and capital investment analysis.

. Own the evaluation and modeling of pricing changes, new product pricing and system set up of pricing within the workflow process and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

. Drive Value Creation by proactively identifying and championing opportunities to create tangible value for the Household and Lifestyle Segment

. Own your development by actively participating in the MyGPS process and Learning and Development programs.

. Partner with Cost and Forecast teams to ensure consistency between financials analysis and current operational plans

Minimum Qualifications

Years and Type of Experience:

. 5+ years of professional work experience in finance and accounting

. Prior A&C experience preferred

. SAP or other ERP systems experience highly desirable

. CPG industry and/or manufacturing environment experience preferred

Skills And Abilities

. Strong analytical skills needed to consolidate large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers and distill issues and risks

. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence

. Solid interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

. Ability to work on cross-functional activities and form solid business relationships

. Ability to take personal ownership of project tasks and ensure timely resolution of issues

. Experience in interpreting accounting principles and incorporating learnings into project financials

. Strong excel modeling capabilities highly desirable

Education level/degree

. Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; MBA or CPA a plus
