Job Description and Responsibilities
The ECO Analyst uses sophisticated analytical skills combined with an in-depth knowledge of the Coherent Richmond business processes and computer systems to support the planning, release, and implementation of Engineering Changes affecting all functions of the Business Unit. The Analyst assists in defining the relevant details that define an Engineering Change and manages the routing of those changes through their appropriate approval process steps. The Analyst will work closely with Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, and other business functions in planning and formulating implementations for required Engineering Changes.

Position Responsibilities:
Manage the formulation and approval routing processes within Agile for all Engineering Change activities
Assist in the planning and implementation of Engineering Changes that release new products and modify existing ones
Assist Engineering in the clerical review of documentation packages for completeness and accuracy prior to release or revision
Provide training and hands-on assistance to business users related to Agile when requested
Using the tools provided, complete the periodic reporting of metrics that define the performance of the Change Analysis process
Assist in the determination of costs associated with an Engineering Change or impact to any relevant time schedules impacted by the change
Minimize the amount of time required to take a Change through the process from creation to fully implemented completion
Perform various general Document Control services as assigned by direct supervision
Will develop in-depth knowledge of the details underlying the Oracle and Agile business systems on which the business operates, particularly as it relates to item configuration and business use
Will maintain a high level of information accuracy and data integrity through all aspects of the change analysis process
Will receive general day-to-day guidance but will operate autonomously in areas where full training has been received

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor s Degree in a technical curriculum
3+ years of experience in Change Analysis, Document Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Systems, Production Planning, or Supply Chain roles
Proficiency with standard desktop software (Outlook, Word); advanced experience with Excel
Experience with Oracle 11i and Agile Product Data Management software is desired
Excellent communications skills
Must possess excellent people skills and work well in a team environment
