Experience with C, FPGA, C#, SOC, NAND FLASH, Flash, and Python software and systems. Substantial and proven experience in High Assurance Architectures, design and Product lifecycles. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.

Comfortable with debugging, unit testing, emulation, and logic analyzer. Fluent in writing protocols and firmware development practices and comfortable working with a variety of operating systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills at a technical and business user level Experience supporting technical proposal efforts including requirements decomposition and verification techniques, architectural design, product definition and description as well as estimation.

Proof of United States Citizenship The ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance. Ability to travel 10% (domestically or internationally)What you'll needThis position will support efforts relates to a system which integrates various aspects to allow the COMSEC and mission operators to request secure communications to support various space-based missions. This position will also support a sytem development effort that moves traditional physical appliances to a virtual environment.

We are re-imagining IA to support this virtual mission.What will help you on the jobAs a member of Viasat's fast-paced Test Engineering Team, you will lead the test team to work closely with the product design team to interpret module requirements and turn them into corresponding Production Test Plans and Production Test Equipment requirements. You will also work with the design team during the Design Verification Test phase to validate products.

Once Production Test Requirements are defined, you will drive the effort to develop and build custom test hardware and test automation software to meet these requirements. Some of the languages used for these test applications are C# and Python. In addition, you will participate in After Market Service approaches, strategy and execution to support these products.Salary range$136,700.00 - $237,800.
