Position Description
We're currently seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our inpatient, acute care team. Flexible scheduling, Weekday availability required, occasional weekends.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Complies with physician referrals to evaluate and treat patients with a variety of disabilities. Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies and provides direct or indirect services that identify, restore and rehabilitate disorders of communication, cognition and swallowing to maximize a patient's safety and independence. Reports to Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current State of CT Department of Health Services license as a Speech Therapist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FEES study experience
  • Modified Barium Swallow study experience
