Microsoft's Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain.

CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.Cloud Capacity Planning (CCP) is the central planning function within CSCP focusing on forecasting, capacity planning, hardware demand planning, inventory buffer strategies, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). CCP is responsible for effectively collaborating with Cloud Services development partners, deeply understanding business goals, translating those needs into useful signals that inform long- mid- and short-term capacity plans, and providing consumable feedback signals that help inform future plans and goals.

The Senior Supply Chain Manager closely partners with Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Centers, New Product Introduction Teams, and the other Supply Chain organizations to plan capacity and hardware demand.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management with a Supply Chain or Operations fieldOR equivalent experience.5+ years experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence and visualization tools eg, Power BI, SQL, Power Pivot, Tableu.

Preferred Qualifications:An understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependenciesCross functional leadership and influencing skills, resulting in tangible business decisions and outcomesAbility to effectively coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders, resolve problems, and seek practical solutionsEffective analytical skills and knowledge in root cause analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies in a matrix environmentEffective written/verbal communication skills, and executive presenceExperience in the High-Tech industry and Cloud/Hyperscale supply chain preferredEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience, eg, SAPEffective project management and process improvement skillsIntegrated Business Planning IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $142,200 - $213,200 per year.
