The Residential Registered Nurse coordinates and provides direct client care for adults with a mental illness in a 24/7 licensed Hospital Diversion Program. Utilizing a Recovery Based process that consist of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. The Residential Registered Nurse works with psychiatrists to ensure good outcomes for persons served, including collaborating with internal and external providers to coordinate psychiatric treatment with medical treatment. The position manages pharmaceutical and medical supplies and oversees medication monitoring and administration under a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.

How you will change lives

Residential Services

- Meet with assigned persons-served face-to-face as deemed medically necessary.

- Oversee consumer individualized recovery process relating to their health through support in managing their disease through clinical treatment.

- Manages pharmaceutical and medical supplies and oversees medication monitoring and administration.

- Works with psychiatrists to ensure good outcomes for persons served.Identify emergency crisis. Make immediate clinical assessments and respond according to accepted crisis intervention methods and techniques.

Coordination of Care

- Participate in the assessment of the physical, functional, and psychological needs of persons served.

- Participate in the development of Treatment Plans by assisting persons served in setting goals linked to addressing identified medical and psychiatric needs.

- Collaborates with internal and external providers to coordinate psychiatric treatment with medical treatment.

- Provide referral to appropriate community resources, facilitate access and communication when multiple services are involved; monitor activities to ensure that services are actually being delivered and meet the needs of the persons served; coordinate services to avoid duplication.

We are Hopeful you have

- Registered Nurse or Bachelor Science in Nursing

- State of Michigan RN Licensure

- Psychiatric nursing experience (preferred).

- Valid Michigan Driver's License.

Weekends- every other (Fridays and Saturdays) - shift is flexible

Weekdays - 2nd shift (any hours between 3 to 11)

- 16 to 24 hours a week
