About the Role
The Preschool Mandarin Bilingual Teacher plays a critical role at Stratford School. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of students in preschool and pre-k while supporting and assisting classroom teachers in supervision, or providing other campus assistance as needed. If there is a vacancy in a classroom, you may have the opportunity to step in and lead the class. This is a perfect role for someone looking to gain school and classroom experience!
You will also
- Implement the Mandarin curriculum
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
- Assist in classroom management and behavior
- Provide support in the classroom or office as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Twelve semester or eighteen quarter units in Early Childhood Education or related field at an accredited college or university
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Child Development or related field is preferred
- Six months or more experience working in a childcare center or program
- Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English language
- Must be able to work in the U.S.
