Genesis10 is seeking a Information Architect/Data Architect for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: The main function of a Solution Architect is to establish system information requirements using analysis of information in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
This resource will align to foundational initiatives. One of the areas this resource will align to is bringing data into the data warehouse and evaluating the data warehouse to make sure that it is consumable by BI and reporting groups within the company. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in producing sound information and data architecture deliverables including concepts and models, at subject or domain-oriented level as well as product logical and implementation models.
Recommend, document, and support delivery of pragmatic architecture to enable business outcomes while addressing major architectural concerns, such as performance, scalability, data quality and data privacy Collaborate with enterprise, solution, and other data architects in defining the information architecture blueprint, roadmap, reference architecture, principles, standards and best practices. Designs architecture to include data requirements, software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Responsible for the identification and development of enterprise data concepts, interfaces, logical and implementation models in collaboration with architects, subject matter experts, and product team members.
Identify, capture, and create information and data blueprint and roadmap to enable key initiatives. Provide data architecture guidance to product teams on standards, patterns, and product specific data models. Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems, and the external interfaces.
Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant. The role may also involve managing vendor evaluations and justifying technical recommendations. Required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent of experience and education.
10+ years' experience required. Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for data focused portfolios, including direct project engagement, implementing the plan that enterprise architect set in place to solve whatever tech challenge comes up, data flow, or connecting to data warehouse, or BI tool, or source systems. Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
