Job DescriptionAs a Financial Controller reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of three talented individuals to ensure the financial health and integrity of the business. Your strategic insights and meticulous attention to detail will guide our financial decisions, contributing directly to our continued growth and success. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility and autonomy in your work environment.

Main duties and responsibilities are to:Oversee all financial aspects using Sage 300 system, driving informed decision-making for a high performing construction businessManage a team of three accounting professionalsOversee all ?nancial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll, and cash ?ow, internal controls, financial reporting, budgeting, WIP reports, GL and external audits and tax returnsBilling projects timely as necessaryPrepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, minimizing risk and maintaining financial integrity.Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Partner with senior operational management to develop and execute strategic financial initiatives aligned with organizational goals.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.This role requires a candidates who can roll up their sleeves and get involved at grass roots level (non-negotiable).
