As an Infectious Disease Officer, youll be responsible for studying the causes, effects, and patterns of infectious diseases, including biological warfare threats. Youll oversee laboratory operations to identify, observe, and confirm the diseases, their responses, and study the spread of disease. Youll also consult on public health policy that impacts the lives of the Soldiers, our nation, and the world.

If selected for position, applicant with direct commission into the U.S. Army in the rank of Captain to Lieutenant Colonel based on experience.

Military pay works a-lot differently than civilian pay so I have included the below incentives to help explain salary. Add the below incentives to a Captain's pay salary to come to the amount of $231,000 a year starting. This amount is not including the $120,000 in student loan repayment that this position also qualifies for. These special incentives are subject to change so apply soon.

1. $200,000 sign on bonus. (4-yr contract)

2. $43,000 yearly Incentive Pay bonus

3. $30,000 yearly Retention Bonus

4. $8,000 yearly Board Certification Pay

5. $120,000 Student loan repayment

6. Free Health care for member and family

7. Free Dental insurance for member, and low-cost dental insurance for family.
