Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. As a critical member of the anesthesia department, following a care team model, you will perform critical tasks that ensure the safety of the patient. What youll need to succeed Required Credentials for CRNA: Nursing degree with completion of a nurse anesthetist training program from an accredited institution.
Current licensure in the state of Ohio.
Status as a certified registered nurse anesthetist.
For graduate nurse anesthetists: Passage of the AANA (American Association of Nurse Anesthetist) certification exam within two years of graduation date.
