Must-Have Skills: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Nexus Background Data Center Experience Route Switch Cisco UCS Responsibilities: Routing Migration: Designing a new eBGP network in collaboration with infrastructure staff. Validating and building a scalable BGP network design, accommodating multiple vendors in a common IP space. Assisting in integrating multiple vendors into the edge network design and providing comprehensive documentation.

Implementing and testing new edge network designs in a lab environment before production deployment. Core Network Architecture: Collaborating with external consultants to devise and implement a new leaf and spine architecture for the core L3 network. Developing migration strategies and deployment plans for transitioning to the new architecture.

Deploying and ensuring proper operation of new Juniper routers in the test lab before production deployment. Documentation, Training, and Support: Documenting all deployments and challenges encountered, providing comprehensive training to infrastructure staff. Cross-training staff on the new network design and providing training on system security plan development.

Providing assistance and training on monitoring application usage and tuning strategies. Datacenter Design and Deployment: Collaborating to design and deploy a new core and datacenter switching infrastructure. Conducting stress and failure testing in a POC environment and integrating it with the production environment.
