Approx 350 beds.

Dedicated cardiac OR's x 2

No trauma service.

High-volume cath lab and cardiology services.

1 surgeon in program at present - seeking 2nd .

Reason for coverage:

Vacation, hiring for perm, etc.

Seeking coverage while recruiting for second surgeon.

Daily Schedule:

Monday - Friday? Weekends? Call?

Mon-Fri scheduled hours - OR starts at 6:30 AM

Weekend/evening call rotation (50%)

Call Details:

Rotation, pager call, in house, out of house etc.

Pager rotation during off-hours (evening, weekends), and weekend rounding per patient needs.

24/7 in-house APP team to support rounding.

Average Case Load/Workload description:

Cases per day, average time rounding, etc.

Annual volume of approx. 175 cases - average 3 cases per week.

Support Staff:

In-house APP support team - 24/7 surgical and ICU coverage

In-house perfusion team

Dedicated surgical teams.
