Major duties and responsibilities:

• The physician provides care to short-term and long-term nursing home patients and supervises clinical care by mid-level providers and medical residents, which may include home visits.
• Knowledge with Patient Advocacy processes
• This assignment is primarily clinical.
• Must be able to identify and resolve conflicting issues between Veterans Health Administration and Department of Defense priorities and processes
