About this roleAs the Accounting Manager at Writer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial health and success. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and managing accounts payable and receivables. With your expertise, you'll provide valuable insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive the company's growth.

Reporting to the head of finance, the accounting manager will supervise the accounting function, which currently has one full-time employee, and provide timely, accurate, and useful accounts. ? Your responsibilitiesOversee and manage all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingWe analyze financial data and prepare financial statements, reports, and presentationsDevelop and implement accounting policies and proceduresManage accounts payable and receivableReconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial recordsPrepare and file tax returnsProviding financial advice and guidance to managementWork with external auditors and other financial professionalsKeep current on accounting standards and best practicesIdentify and mitigate financial risksSupervise and scale accounting team?
