A prestigious company is looking for a Senior SQL Developer. This person will focus on design, maintenance, and enhancement of data models to support business initiatives. They will need experience with ETL procedures, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL, Python/PowerShell, Tableau, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop flexible data solutions to meet ever-changing company needs.
• Support the processes to identify, capture and store data in data warehouse structure.
• Design, Maintain, and Enhance Data Models to support business initiatives.
• Design and develop integration/connections to various external and internal data sources.
• Design and implement ETL procedures from both internal and outside sources while ensuring data quality.
• Support implemented BI solutions and Analytics by monitoring performance, tuning queries, and troubleshooting database issues while upholding high standards of data integrity.
• Perform project planning and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
• Open, track, and resolve issues with vendors.
• Standardize, organize, and document BI processes.
• Expertise in ETL and writing stored procedures
• Drive and participate in all stages of the development life cycle, from concept to planning, to developing, to testing/debugging, to delivery.
• Work within an Agile environment to plan and deliver incremental projects in defined sprints.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in database development & architecture experience
• Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) with SSIS projects
• Experience in developing a semantic data layer for easy access of business users.
• Experience creating logical models and translating into physical database structure. Both existing and proposed.
• Strong knowledge and experience with T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS on SQL server, OLAP/PLTP, RDBMS design, dimensional modelling, SQL server, ETL and BI tools.
• Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence and data warehousing principles, approaches, technologies, and architectures.
• Experience with one or more data visualization tools. (Tableau,etc.)
• Experience with Cloud platforms and databases (Azure,AWS)
• Scripting skills in Powershell, Python
• Understanding of data warehouse and relational database concepts such as Kimball and Inmon.
• Proficient in data modelling tools.
• Advanced SQL optimization and skills required.
• Performance tuning experience.
