Technical Support Lead (Permanent)

Location: Luxembourg
 

Technical Support Lead

Coms joing our team supporting the European Investment BAnk in their critical work supporting the Green Energy transition, and key infrastructure projects across Europe.

As a Technical Support Lead, you will be responsible for managing key applications and supporting infrastructure underpinning the financial support for these critical projects. You will also act as a point of contact between business and IT teams and coordinate continuous systems evolution deployments across environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the resolution of application and system issues
  • Act as a point of contact between business and IT teams
  • Coordinate continuous systems evolution deployments across environments
  • Manage technical support activities
  • Release management - coordinate continuous systems evolution deployments across env's, harmonize releases across systems (vendor and in-house) and MW components (eg Kafka)
  • Coordinate setting-up and evolution of automated testing framework (not yet developed)
  • Administer CI/CD pipelines via Azure for vendor supplied application
  • Deploy application software via Azure (manual in case of issues)
  • Monitor applications using Splunk
  • Automate applications using PowerShell scripts and autosys or similar scheduling tool

Requirements

  • Experience in the area of application support with a responsibility for managing the resolution of application and system issues
  • Ability to resolve and explain complex issues to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
  • Understanding integration with the banks landscape of tool, Kafka
  • Knowledge of IIS installations and administration
  • Knowledge of Data models as well as Oracle and MongoDB including performance analysis (end to end)
  • Management of technical support activities and acting as a point of contact between Business and IT teams
  • Experience in coordinating and harmionising CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in administering CI/CD pipelines via Azure
  • Experience in monitoring & Application sccripting
  • Fluent English, French is an advantage.
