We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to fortify my client instead cloud-based infrastructure, focusing on securing there blockchain and oracle solutions.

This pivotal role involves crafting and executing secure cloud architectures, particularly in containerised environments like Kubernetes (K8s). Collaborating closely with there development and operations teams, you will integrate security best practices into there DevOps pipeline, playing a critical role in safeguarding there innovative technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure architectures for there cloud-based infrastructure, with a special focus on blockchain-specific security needs.
• Implement and manage robust security controls for K8s environments, including comprehensive threat assessments and modelling.
• Design and enforce strict access controls and identity management solutions within our cloud environments.
• Lead the deployment of monitoring and logging solutions, analysing data to swiftly identify and mitigate security incidents.
• Contribute to the secure development life cycle of our blockchain solutions, ensuring best practices are integrated from the outset.

The Ideal Candidate

• experience in developing secure cloud architectures, preferably with exposure to blockchain technologies.
• Demonstrates deep knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices, with hands-on experience in K8s security.
• Proficient in developing security solutions in at least one programming language.
• Naturally curious and a rapid learner, with a strong interest in blockchain and oracle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience securing multi-cloud environments and familiarity with cross-cloud security challenges.
• Knowledgeable about common application security issues (OWASP top 10) and how they apply to blockchain-based applications.
• Skilled in enhancing security across the development life cycle of complex, distributed applications.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating in a fast-paced and dynamic team.
