Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support a global health organisation within their Research and Development department. This role requires a strong foundation in software development and the ability to work with cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Python, JavaScript, React, and other programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
• Implement and manage containerisation using Docker.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
• Utilise Terraform for infrastructure as code management and deployment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Cloud platforms, specifically Azure and GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker for containerisation.
• Familiarity with React for Front End development.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Terraform for infrastructure management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Previous time in a similar role within a research and development environment.
