A GP surgery is seeking an experienced and compassionate Qualified Practice Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in Primary Care. Nurse-led management of chronic conditions

• Preventative healthcare, immunisations and cervical cytology
• Health promotion and supporting lifestyle change
• Clinical decision-making and evidence-based practice
• Service improvement, audits and quality initiatives
• Teaching, mentor-ship and clinical supervision
• Flexible, innovative working to meet service demands

Essential requirements

• Registered Nurse with 2+ years post-registration experience
• Minimum 1 year General Practice experience
• Recent community nursing experience
• Competence in immunisations, cervical cytology, ear care and minor surgery
• Experience managing chronic conditions and working to protocols
• Strong communication, leadership, IT and audit skills
