Plant Automation Engineer

Location: Leeds

Salary: Up to £30k per annum

Metalis are working with a specialist manufacturing company in the Leeds area who are looking to add a Plant Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

• Work alongside the Manufacturing/Automation Engineering team
• Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects
• Improve Automation and scrap reduction.
• Industrial robot programming
• Developing fixtures and tooling in CAD.
• Improve the daily operational metrics of our business.

The Person:

• Professionally Qualified Engineer (HNC or BEng degree)
• Competency to evaluate hardware design, including I/O, PLC's, Industry 4.0
• Proficient in 3D CAD
• Capex proposals, Standard working procedures, training documents
