Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (multiple roles)

Salary/Rate: £400 - 550 per day (Outside IR35)

Job Type: Contract (6 months)

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for multiple AWS Cloud Engineers to join a cloud migration project on a six-month initial contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The AWS Cloud Engineers will be responsible for the following:

• Major focus on designing/architecting, automating, and supporting AWS core infrastructure, Networking and Kubernetes clusters in EKS.
• Strong understanding and experience working hands on with core AWS cloud infrastructure components (compute, storage, network, data and AWS managed services) to deliver end to end cloud architectures and solutions.
• Deliver consistent multi account solutions using Global Landing Zones
• Ensure technical solutions for projects are aligned with approved architectures and design pattern.
• Working with Terraform Modules to create reuseable building blocks, and be the core Terraform module owners.
• Build secure solutions using DevSecOps principles.

• RDS/DMS - (Deploy/Manage)
• AWS Organisations/SCPs/Backup & Tagging Policies (Implement/Manage)
• AWS Account Factory, Account Factory for Terraform (Implement/Manage)
• AWS Networking ( Implement/Manage)
• AWS IAM Identity Center (Implement/Manage)

Desirable Certifications

• AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Speciality
• AWS Certified Security Speciality
• CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
