Your new company
You will be working for a British furniture manufacturing company based in Leicester. They are experiencing a period of growth within their logistics operation and are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join the team.

Your new role
In this role you will help support the operation by packing and storing products efficiently and securely, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, and assist in managing the shipping process by booking deliveries and obtaining quotes from suppliers. You will also be required to maintain inventory records and make local deliveries to clients.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated, a quick learner and have a great attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in logistics and work their way up. 1 or 2 years' experience is a similar role/furniture industry is ideal but not essential. You will need a full UK driving licence.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a permanent contract alongside a salary of £22,776. This role is 36.5 hours (Mon to Thurs 8.30 AM to 5 PM, and Fri 8 AM to 4 PM). The position comes with full training and support for anyone who wishes to grow a career within the logistics industry.
