Senior Instrument and Control Engineer (Contract)

Location: Aberdeen Country: UK
 

Are you a skilled Instrument and Controls Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the oil and gas industry? Our client, a leading Oil and Gas organisation based in Aberdeen, is seeking a Senior Instrument and Controls Engineer to join their team on a 12-month temporary contract, with potential for further extension.

As a Senior Instrument and Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing first-line maintenance and engineering support to their offshore assets.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance and Integrity Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

* Responding to and resolving instrument and control queries
* Coordinating work orders and maintenance records using SAP
* Producing scopes of work for project modifications
* Managing equipment repairs and liaising with vendors
* Conducting risk assessments for safety critical backlog work orders
* Developing equipment bill of materials in your discipline area
* Coordinating maintenance plans with vendors and contractors
* Participating in the development of maintenance strategies and equipment plans
* Supporting platform audits and conducting offshore/site surveys as required

The successful candidate will have:
* Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent experience and competency + apprenticeship
* Operator Experience preferred
* Experience in the onshore/offshore oil and gas industry, including knowledge of process, systems, and equipment
* Familiarity with SAP and other relevant software
* Compliance with Company EH&S standards and regulations
