Location: Blackpool (Excellent motorway, bus, and parking links)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term Time)

Pay: 120 - 135 per day

Contract: Easter - July 2026 - Temporary, term time Full-Time

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to step up, or an ECT looking to gain diverse classroom management experience in a school that truly changes lives?

We are partnering with a thriving two-form entry Primary School in Blackpool to recruit a motivated and proactive HLTA. This school is a place where every child is given the best start in life, regardless of their background, and where staff are supported to become the best educators they can be.

At our school, reading is our greatest priority, as it opens the gates to all other learning. We are passionate believers in the ReadWriteInc Phonics scheme and prioritise reading for pleasure, supported by a wealth of author visits throughout the year to inspire our pupils.

• Qualified HLTAs looking for a stable, Full time role in an inclusive setting.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking classroom management experience across the school.
• Level 3 TAs ready for the next step the school is willing to support and fund your HLTA training.

As an HLTA, you will work collaboratively with teachers to raise standards and support our inclusive vision:

• Classroom Leadership: Providing PPA and short-term cover, delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
• Phonics & Literacy: Supporting our ReadWriteInc delivery to ensure every child becomes a confident reader.
• Holistic Support: Working alongside our Nurture Team to implement the six principles of nurture within the classroom.
• Interventions: Leading specific learning activities and adapting resources to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.

We are looking for a highly skilled practitioner who:

• Holds a Level 3 or 4 qualification (or is an ECT).
• Is passionate about reading for pleasure and inclusive education.
• Is proactive, organised, and able to lead a whole class with confidence.
• Is committed to their own professional development and the well-being of every student.
