On behalf of our client, a Swiss Investment Management company, Swisslinx are looking for a Quantitative Developer for a permanent position based in Zug.

Main responsibilities:
Greenfield project to upgrade the GZC risk engine.
Migration of the risk and analytics platform to the cloud. (Microsoft Azure)
Develop risk simulation and modelling framework.
Project Management with strong ownership requirement.
Provide support to the investment team in analytics.
Collaborate with the front-end developer to enhance the Portfolio Management interface.
Promote best programming practices among the team.
Perform code review and validation before release in production.

Must haves:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial institution, mid-size will be preferred.
Strong proficiency in Python and Java is expected, additional languages a plus (C++, QuantLib).
Knowledge of cloud/microservices architecture (ideally Microsoft Azure).
Experience working with relational databases and SQL (stored procedures)
Although technical requirements are eliminative, soft skills will be decisive in our choice.
