Contributes to the overall success of the Mass marketing efforts for Payments & Partnerships supporting Primary Banking in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Supports Senior Manager in the development of marketing plans/campaigns to support Primary Banking. This can be achieved by helping to drive a collaborative planning process with marketing partners across the Marketing ecosystem and may include SCENE LP.
  • Flawlessly executes key initiatives that increases credibility and raises awareness among existing and new customers while driving trial and loyalty purchasing for primary banking. This can be achieved by effectively managing multiple projects of vast scope and complexity and delivers projects on strategy, on time, on budget.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns reflect integration of all marketing channels which leads to effective and focused delivery of key messaging to the consumer.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and ensures key consumer insights and customer needs are being considered and integrated in marketing efforts.
  • Assists in the development and recommendation of the annual marketing budgets and may assist in the management of marketing budget, track expenses and providing monthly updates.
  • Support the business line marketing requirements by developing collaborative working relationships with BL partners, marketing colleague and agencies and may include SCENE LP and BOND and by working effectively within a cross-functional team environment that includes many reporting levels and varying skills/competencies.
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor and a marketing subject matter expert. This can be achieved by proactively sharing best practices and learning with peers and partners and working closely with internal marketing partners to develop integrated marketing plans/campaigns.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Champions a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in financial services industry
  • Sound knowledge of marketing disciplines with experience in Marketing Planning, Communications and Campaign Management
  • Strong communication skills combined with strong relationship-building abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate a positive and effective team environment
  • Strong project management skills
