JobServe Celebrates Success of New Resume Search Service
|
May 11, 2010 After a successful beta launch throughout April, JobServe announces the full release of its new resume search platform, coinciding with the opening of its North American data centre. "Our Canadian customer base of corporate and agency recruiters were quite vocal in their request for a fast, intuitive and effective resume search service to complement our job posting services," said Chris Klotz, CEO of JobServe Canada. "We are really pleased with the final product, and with the job market picking up across most industries the timing for this release is perfect." Initial feedback from JobServe customers has been positive. Commenting on the new resume search service, Wiley Flowers, Technical Recruiter for Electronic Transaction Consultants said, "The new JobServe resume search engine has been an awesome tool and extremely beneficial in helping me fill my positions for my company. I recently received 14 openings in four different locations with an average target start date of three weeks to a month and I have been able to fill over 60% in the last three weeks with the help of this new resume tool and a combination of JobServe's job postings." The resume search service utilizes patented behavioural analytics to identify and rank relevant candidates. Recruiters have the flexibility to easily modify key search criteria and conduct side by side resume comparisons. "Enhancing the functionality to increase the speed of resume return and the ability to zoom in on only the most relevant resumes was the key focus of the product development team. With our customers already benefiting from our behavioural matching technology on our job postings, incorporating this into resume searching as well creates a full-circle recruitment solution. Whether posting, searching or both, customers receive the most relevant and active candidates online," commented Klotz. To enhance the performance of the website including the resume search service, JobServe opened a new North American data centre. "The new hosting service has increased the speed of the US and Canadian sites three-fold, enabling faster searching and matching for job seekers and employers alike," Klotz concluded. About JobServe JobServe Canada was formed in January 2007 as the result of the acquisition of JobShark.com, Canada's largest independent job board.
